British designer Jasper Conran has been announced as a patron of Julia's House, the Dorset and Wiltshire children's hospice charity, which provides both respite and end of life care for sick children and their families.

Conran, who provides funding for nurses through his charitable foundation, commented 'I am very proud that I am able to help this extraordinary organisation do its fantastic and much needed work - building memories and providing ongoing care and support not just for the child but for the whole family'.
